Hit Report: Connacht Sabs: Grallagh Harriers

Grallagh Harriers, Knockdoe, County Galway.

Still angered over having to leave after being attacked the day prior with deadly weapons our sabs were delighted when once again some locals tipped on hunt location.

We arrived in Knockdoe for the Grallagh Harriers closing meet. They set off just before 12 (after sending down some drunk driver to record our eyes) proceeding to take their hounds and field across an extremely busy Tuam - Claregalway main road.

They entered the field, after some exchanges with hunt support (we couldn't make out much with the slurred words) our sabs entered the field in pursuit of David and his hounds.

Declan, one of the whips was sent with another hunt supporter to follow our every move. Throughout the day they didn't really do a whole lot, besides go for a number of piss breaks!

We caught up to David with little effort where he was intensely hunting a wood. We seen a fox break cover in front of us and the terrierman. Hounds were marking to ground at this stage however as previously seen they seemed hesitant to dig with us on top of them. Our sabs then turned around and seen two more foxes run into a nearby brush. About an hour passed with David desperately trying to get on a scent, sabs on his heels at every turn ready to intervene if needed.

Eventually, they picked up and sabs went in chase. A bit of elbowing etc from Declan was merely a distraction as sabs deployed the gizmo and sent the entire pack into disarray.

We left for pickup at the local GAA club only to be met with the man who attacked us only 24hrs prior in his 4x4, Anthony Costello. We were very surprised he would show his face considering he committed a criminal offence yesterday.

To our knowledge, there were no kills.
