Hit Report: Connacht Sabs hit East Galway Hunt

Two hunts sabbed today. Munster Hunt Sabs paid a visit to Union Hunt and were physically assaulted. See their hit report here.

Meanwhile, Connacht Hunt Saboteurs visited the East Galway Hunt again in Ballydangan , Co Roscommon , Eíre.

Sabs were ready in wait to pursue the hound van as it left leaspheasty but unfortunately we lost chase going through a busy morning Ballinsloe town . Not derailed by this Sabs continued in pursuit, scouting previous Hunt meet locations in the surrounding area. After over an hour of searching and nearly all meet locations checked we were near ready to call it a day until we were given Intel on a possible Hunt location. A local sheep farmer who'd had problems with the hunt before was happy to point us in the right direction, and the tip off paid off as we found the meet location at Millars Bar, Ballydangan .

Sabs swiftly got on foot to try locate the Hunt who would have been out hunting for an hour and a half by this point . Alarms bells were set off when the hunt were spotted on the edge of a meadow surrounding a area of scrub. Sabs moved swiftly to get on scene to make sure the hunt were not on a dig out . As soon as we showed up the hunt swiftly dispersed from the scene , abandoning whatever they had been up to and getting back on the road leaving half the pack of hounds behind them . Sabs checked for signs of a kill but luckily found nothing. We moved off again to catch up with the hunt who seemed keen to get out of sight as fast as possible. Sabs found them shortly after and kept a close eye making sure no wildlife was killed. The Hunt becoming increasingly frustrated started riding horses at sabs and hurling the usual bullshit abuse at us . After holding the hunt up for a quarter of an hour the increasingly emotional hunt moved off in the direction of home . Two Garda cars showed up on scene as they had reports from the hunt that "Isis " had been seen in Ballydangan, Co Roscommon . The Garda soon realised their time had been wasted and that we are nothing more than peaceful Wildlife lovers.

The Hunt frustrated with our presence packed up at about 3 :00. Unfortunately they got away with an hour and a half of hunting before we arrived so we can not guarantee that no wildlife was killed on day .
