Hit Report: Leinster X Connacht Sabs: Meath Hunt

Hit Report.

29/02/2020 Meath Hunt closing meet, Dunderry, County Meath.

After our comrades Leinster Hunt Saboteurs were tipped off that the Meath hunt were actually going to attempt to hunt during storm Jorge, we decided to make the long trip east to join them.

After arriving in Dunderry just after 12 the hunt had already unboxed and moved into the field. We struggled to find them in a new area but a local farmer gave us directions and we deployed sabs. We had eyes on a terrierman acting suspiciously around a cover so some of our squad made tracks to ensure no setts or dens were blocked.

Due to very extreme weather conditions didn't manage to catch up with the hunt until 1:45 when we found the entire hunt packing up in the village.

Very unlikely to have made any kills due to scenting being so bad but unfortunately we can't be sure. A field which looked like over 100 riders in these conditions was very irresponsible.

Once we knew the hunt had fully packed we headed home prompty to our cosy fires!

We covered an usually large amount of road yesterday, if you can assist with our fuel costs please do so here: https://ko-fi.com/huntsabsireland
